Amblygonite is a rare fluorophosphate (Li, Na) AlPO4 (F, OH) found in pegmatites. Due to its rarity, it is only used as a gemstone in jewellery on a very limited basis. This pale yellow amblygonite comes from Taquaral, Itinga in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and has an unusual fancy cut. The dimensions of the stone are 10.67 x 6.30 mm; this stone is intended for collectors.
