Ametrine 7.18 ct

The exceptionally beautiful ametrine comes from the Anahi mine in the La Gaiba district of Sandoval province in Bolivia, on the border with Brazil. Ametrine is an attractive variety of two-coloured quartz (purple-yellow with a sharp transition of colours). It occurs in the only place in the world in Bolivia. Literature reports other places of occurrence, but ametrine does not reach jewellery quality there. This ametrine offered has a modern fancy cut.
