Aragonite 4.31 ct

Cut aragonites reach truly astronomical prices on world markets. They are mostly offered in relatively large stones, but they are very expensive. The stone offered by us has a top cut in the shape of a regular multi-row oval, the colour of the stone is light yellow. The offered aragonite comes from the Číčov hill near Hořenec in the Czech Central Highlands, local aragonites are characterized by very long fluorescence after UV light is turned off. The size of the stone is 12,45 x 8,36 mm. Aragonite is completely unsuitable for jewellery (too soft and fissile), on the contrary, it will be a decoration of any collection of cut rarity gemstones.
