A very rare cut monazite of beautiful caramel colour from Espirito Santo, Bahia, Brazil. This locality, probably the only one in the world, provides very limited quantities of cutable monazites. The dimensions of the stone are 8.63 x 5.47 mm. This stone is only suitable for the truly discerning collector who will appreciate its rarity. Monazite is less suitable for jewellery – already because of its very weak radioactivity.
