Sapphire 0.28 ct

An exceptionally beautiful sapphire, untreated by heat or otherwise. This stone, thanks to the fact that it has not been treated in any way, has a distinctly zonal colour (sharp alternation of light and medium blue bands, in certain angles a slightly greenish or more rarely yellowish shade may appear). The sapphire on offer comes from a completely atypical locality near the town of Teofilo Otoni in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The size of the stone is 4,50 x 2,78 mm.
