Objevitelem tohoto miner\u00e1lu byl americk\u00fd geolog Charles Upham Shephard, kter\u00fd ho popsal jako nov\u00fd miner\u00e1l. P\u0159esto\u017ee byl p\u016fvodn\u011b nalezen v Danbury, dne\u0161n\u00ed hlavn\u00ed nalezi\u0161t\u011b le\u017e\u00ed v jin\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1stech sv\u011bta. Jeho n\u00e1zev byl odvozen od m\u00edsta n\u00e1lezu, co\u017e je b\u011b\u017en\u00e1 praxe u mnoha dal\u0161\u00edch miner\u00e1l\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vlastnosti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Danburit je borosilik\u00e1t v\u00e1pen\u00edku s chemick\u00fdm vzorcem CaB\u2082(SiO\u2084)\u2082. Barevn\u00e9 variace jsou zp\u016fsobeny p\u0159\u00edtomnost\u00ed stopov\u00fdch prvk\u016f.
