Titanit pat\u0159\u00ed mezi relativn\u011b vz\u00e1cn\u00e9 a pom\u011brn\u011b nezn\u00e1m\u00e9 drah\u00e9 kameny a je obl\u00edben zejm\u00e9na mezi sb\u011brateli a milovn\u00edky m\u00e9n\u011b zn\u00e1m\u00fdch drah\u00fdch kamen\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prvn\u00ed zm\u00ednky o titanitu se datuj\u00ed do 18. stolet\u00ed. Tento miner\u00e1l byl poprv\u00e9 pops\u00e1n v roce 1795 n\u011bmeck\u00fdm mineralogem Martinem Heinrichem Klaprothem, kter\u00fd ho objevil v hornin\u00e1ch na \u00fazem\u00ed sou\u010dasn\u00e9ho N\u011bmecka. Klaproth tak\u00e9 identifikoval p\u0159\u00edtomnost titanu, prvku, kter\u00fd byl pojmenov\u00e1n podle b\u00e1jn\u00fdch Tit\u00e1n\u016f z \u0159eck\u00e9 mytologie. N\u00e1zev sf\u00e9n poch\u00e1z\u00ed z \u0159eck\u00e9ho slova <em>sph\u0113n<\/em>, co\u017e znamen\u00e1 kl\u00edn a odkazuje na charakteristick\u00fd tvar krystal\u016f titanitu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Titanit byl zpo\u010d\u00e1tku vn\u00edm\u00e1n p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm jako miner\u00e1l u\u017eite\u010dn\u00fd v geologii pro ur\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed st\u00e1\u0159\u00ed hornin. A\u010dkoliv titanit nen\u00ed tak roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00fd jako jin\u00e9 drah\u00e9 kameny, stal se cen\u011bn\u00fdm kamenem pro ty, kte\u0159\u00ed hledaj\u00ed v\u00fdjime\u010dn\u00e9 a m\u00e9n\u011b obvykl\u00e9 miner\u00e1ly do sv\u00fdch sb\u00edrek nebo \u0161perk\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vlastnosti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chemick\u00fd vzorec titanitu je CaTiSiO\u2085 a d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fdm znakem tohoto miner\u00e1lu je pr\u00e1v\u011b p\u0159\u00edtomnost titanu, kter\u00fd zp\u016fsobuje jeho charakteristickou z\u00e1\u0159ivost. Vyskytuje se v \u0161irok\u00e9m spektru barev od \u017elut\u00e9, zelen\u00e9, hn\u011bd\u00e9 a\u017e po \u0161edav\u00e9 odst\u00edny. \u017dlut\u00e9 a hn\u011bd\u00e9 varianty jsou nejb\u011b\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed; zelen\u00e9 jsou velmi vz\u00e1cn\u00e9 a hojn\u011b vyhled\u00e1v\u00e1ny. M\u00e9n\u011b \u010dast\u00e9 jsou vzorky s \u010derven\u00fdmi nebo r\u016f\u017eov\u00fdmi t\u00f3ny, kter\u00e9 jsou extr\u00e9mn\u011b vz\u00e1cn\u00e9 a cen\u011bn\u00e9. Titanit krystaluje v monoklinick\u00e9 soustav\u011b a \u010dasto vytv\u00e1\u0159\u00ed kl\u00ednov\u00e9 krystaly, kter\u00e9 se staly jeho charakteristick\u00fdm rysem. Jeho krystaly maj\u00ed typicky vysok\u00fd lesk a skeln\u00fd a\u017e mastn\u00fd vzhled. Na Mohsov\u011b stupnici tvrdosti dosahuje titanit hodnoty 5 a\u017e 5,5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Index lomu sv\u011btla titanitu je mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b vysok\u00fd, pohybuje mezi 1,880 a 2,010, d\u00edky \u010demu\u017e m\u00e1 tento k\u00e1men sv\u016fj charakteristick\u00fd \u201eohe\u0148\u201c, kter\u00fd je podobn\u00fd diamant\u016fm. Tento efekt je z\u0159eteln\u00fd zejm\u00e9na u \u010dist\u00fdch a kvalitn\u00edch brou\u0161en\u00fdch kamen\u016f. Titanit vykazuje siln\u00fd pleochroismus (p\u0159i pohledu z r\u016fzn\u00fdch \u00fahl\u016f m\u016f\u017ee m\u011bnit barvu). Tento jev je nejv\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed u \u017elut\u00fdch a zelen\u00fdch vzork\u016f, kter\u00e9 mohou vykazovat odst\u00edny od zlato\u017elut\u00e9 a\u017e po zelenavou barvu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V\u00fdskyt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Titanit se vyskytuje v r\u016fzn\u00fdch typech hornin, zejm\u00e9na v magmatick\u00fdch a metamorfovan\u00fdch hornin\u00e1ch. Nej\u010dast\u011bji se nach\u00e1z\u00ed v granitick\u00fdch pegmatitech, \u017eul\u00e1ch a syenitech, ale tak\u00e9 ve v\u00e1penat\u00fdch a k\u0159emi\u010dit\u00fdch skarnov\u00fdch lo\u017eisk\u00e1ch. Titanit se tvo\u0159\u00ed za specifick\u00fdch podm\u00ednek vysok\u00fdch teplot a tlak\u016f, kde se chemick\u00e9 slo\u017eky v hornin\u011b za\u010d\u00ednaj\u00ed p\u0159eskupovat a vytv\u00e1\u0159ej\u00ed nov\u00e9 miner\u00e1ly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ve v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch krystalech je titanit vz\u00e1cn\u00fd, v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed brou\u0161en\u00e9 kusy jsou tak velmi vz\u00e1cn\u00e9. Extr\u00e9mn\u011b vz\u00e1cn\u011b se lze setkat s&nbsp;titanity vykazuj\u00edc\u00edmi jev ko\u010di\u010d\u00edho oka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Titanit je mo\u017en\u00e9 nal\u00e9zt nap\u0159. v rakousk\u00fdch Alp\u00e1ch, kter\u00e9 pat\u0159\u00ed mezi jeho tradi\u010dn\u00ed nalezi\u0161t\u011b; byly zde toti\u017e nalezeny velmi kvalitn\u00ed zelen\u00e9 a \u017elut\u00e9 krystaly titanitu. Zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b cen\u011bny jsou vzorky z oblasti Habachtalu a okol\u00ed. Titanit z Norska je zn\u00e1m\u00fd pro sv\u00e9 velk\u00e9 krystaly s jasn\u011b \u017elut\u00fdm nebo zelen\u00fdm odst\u00ednem. Dal\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdskyty se nach\u00e1z\u00ed nap\u0159. v&nbsp;Braz\u00edlii, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na severu st\u00e1tu Minas Gerais. Titanit z t\u00e9to oblasti m\u00e1 \u010dasto sv\u011btle zelenou barvu a b\u00fdv\u00e1 pom\u011brn\u011b \u010dist\u00fd.
