Jeho n\u00e1zev poch\u00e1z\u00ed ze sinh\u00e1l\u0161tiny, kde <em>tura mali<\/em> znamen\u00e1 kamenn\u00e9 barvy. A\u010dkoli turmal\u00edn m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt r\u016fzn\u00e9 barvy, je zn\u00e1m\u00fd sv\u00fdmi specifick\u00fdmi optick\u00fdmi vlastnostmi a schopnostmi reagovat na elektrick\u00e9 pole, co\u017e ho d\u011bl\u00e1 velmi zaj\u00edmav\u00fdm nejen pro gemology, ale i pro v\u011bdce z jin\u00fdch obor\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turmal\u00edny pat\u0159\u00ed mezi jedny v&nbsp;nejvyhled\u00e1van\u011bj\u0161\u00edch drah\u00fdch kamen\u016f d\u00edky sv\u00fdm jasn\u00fdm barv\u00e1m, \u010distot\u011b a relativn\u00ed cenov\u00e9 dostupnosti (mimo paraiba turmal\u00edn\u016f \u2013 ty jsou opravdu velmi drah\u00e9 a velmi vz\u00e1cn\u00e9).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vlastnosti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turmal\u00edn pat\u0159\u00ed do skupiny borosilik\u00e1t\u016f a obsahuje mnoho r\u016fzn\u00fdch prvk\u016f v\u010detn\u011b hlin\u00edku, \u017eeleza, lithia a manganu. Jeho chemick\u00e1 struktura je pom\u011brn\u011b slo\u017eit\u00e1, co\u017e p\u0159isp\u00edv\u00e1 k jeho rozmanitosti. Ta je d\u00e1na mimo jin\u00e9 t\u00edm, \u017ee turmal\u00edn krystaloval jako jeden z&nbsp;posledn\u00edch miner\u00e1l\u016f, a tak se do jeho struktury \u201eposb\u00edraly\u201c prvky, co zbyly, a t\u00e9\u017e prvky, kter\u00e9 u\u017e \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd jin\u00fd miner\u00e1l \u201enecht\u011bl\u201c. R\u016fzn\u00e9 varianty turmal\u00ednu se vyzna\u010duj\u00ed odli\u0161n\u00fdmi fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edmi a chemick\u00fdmi vlastnostmi a mohou m\u00edt r\u016fzn\u00e9 barvy v z\u00e1vislosti na jejich chemick\u00e9m slo\u017een\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jednou ze zaj\u00edmav\u00fdch optick\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed turmal\u00ednu jeho velmi siln\u00fd pleochroismus, tedy zm\u011bna barvy v&nbsp;z\u00e1vislosti na sm\u011bru pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed. D\u00edv\u00e1me-li se na krystal ve sm\u011bru osy c (nejdel\u0161\u00ed osa sloupcovit\u00e9ho krystalu), pak m\u016f\u017eeme vid\u011bt nap\u0159. sv\u011btle zelenou barvu. Kdy\u017e se v\u0161ak na stejn\u00fd krystal pod\u00edv\u00e1me v&nbsp;kolm\u00e9m sm\u011bru (tedy do osy a), pak m\u016f\u017eeme vid\u011bt nap\u0159. barvu syt\u011b karamelovou. Tento fenom\u00e9n je velmi zaj\u00edmav\u00fd, proto\u017ee \u010dist\u011b intuitivn\u011b by \u010dlov\u011bk \u0159ekl, \u017ee kdy\u017e se bude d\u00edvat do men\u0161\u00ed masy kamene, m\u011bl by vid\u011bt sv\u011btl\u00e9 barvy, a naopak pod\u00edv\u00e1-li se do v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed masy kamene, m\u011bl by vid\u011bt barvy tmav\u00e9 a syt\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">U turmal\u00ednu to neplat\u00ed. I kdy\u017e se pod\u00edv\u00e1me pouze do velmi tenk\u00fdch pl\u00e1tk\u016f vyroben\u00fdch z&nbsp;krystalu, m\u016f\u017eeme vid\u011bt mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b syt\u00e9 barvy. Kdy\u017e se naopak na ten sam\u00fd krystal pod\u00edv\u00e1me v&nbsp;kolm\u00e9m sm\u011bru, m\u016f\u017eeme vid\u011bt sv\u011btl\u00e9 barvy (anebo \u00fapln\u011b jin\u00e9 barvy) i p\u0159esto, \u017ee se d\u00edv\u00e1me do v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed masy kamene. Dal\u0161\u00ed zaj\u00edmavou vlastnost\u00ed turmal\u00ednu jsou jeho pyroelektrick\u00e9 schopnosti. Jestli\u017ee turmal\u00ednov\u00fd krystal zah\u0159ejeme, jeden jeho konec za\u010dne p\u0159itahovat nap\u0159. popel. Stejn\u00e9ho efektu lze dos\u00e1hnout i stla\u010den\u00edm krystalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mineralogie turmal\u00ednov\u00e9 skupiny je velmi slo\u017eit\u00e1. V\u011bt\u0161ina z\u00e1stupc\u016f t\u00e9to skupiny se nevyskytuje v&nbsp;klenotnick\u00e9 kvalit\u011b, a tak se s&nbsp;nimi ve \u0161perku nesetk\u00e1me. Z&nbsp;gemologick\u00e9ho hlediska rozli\u0161uje Gemological Institute of America (GIA) tyto klenotnicky vyu\u017eiteln\u00e9 druhy, kter\u00e9 d\u011bl\u00ed podle obsahu vedlej\u0161\u00edch a stopov\u00fdch prvk\u016f:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Elbaity<\/strong>&nbsp;(tzv. lithn\u00e9 turmal\u00edny \u2013 obsahuj\u00ed lithium) jsou nej\u0161ir\u0161\u00ed a z\u00e1rove\u0148 nejobl\u00edben\u011bj\u0161\u00ed skupinou turmal\u00edn\u016f. \u010casto poch\u00e1zej\u00ed z&nbsp;pegmatit\u016f anebo&nbsp;r\u00fd\u017eovisek a chemick\u00fd vzorec maj\u00ed Na(Li,Al)<sub>3<\/sub>Al<sub>6<\/sub>(BO<sub>3<\/sub>)<sub>3<\/sub>Si<sub>6<\/sub>O<sub>18<\/sub>(OH)<sub>4. <\/sub>D\u011bl\u00ed se n\u00e1sledn\u011b na elbaity r\u016fzn\u00fdch barev:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rubelit<\/strong> je \u010derven\u00fd.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Indigolit<\/strong> je modr\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Achroit<\/strong> je bezbarv\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Verdelit<\/strong> je zelen\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Melounov\u00fd turmal\u00edn<\/strong> je r\u016fznobarevn\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mezi elbaity pat\u0159\u00ed \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b i <strong>paraiba turmal\u00edn<\/strong> se svoj\u00ed neonov\u011b modrou barvou. Tento turmal\u00edn byl nalezen v&nbsp;roce 1987 ve st\u00e1t\u011b Paraiba v dole Batalha, na severov\u00fdchod\u011b Braz\u00edlie. Uveden byl na trh v&nbsp;roce 1989 a pozd\u011bji byl je\u0161t\u011b nalezen v Nig\u00e9rii a Mosambiku. Tento typ turmal\u00ednu je extr\u00e9mn\u011b vz\u00e1cn\u00fd a rovn\u011b\u017e extr\u00e9mn\u011b drah\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dravity <\/strong>jsou dal\u0161\u00ed (stejn\u011b jako elbaity) v\u00fdznamnou podskupinou superskupiny turmal\u00ednu. Vyskytuj\u00ed se p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v&nbsp;dolomitech a mramorech. Barva uvitu je zp\u016fsobena v\u00e1pn\u00edkem, ho\u0159\u010d\u00edkem a hlin\u00edkem. Vyskytuj\u00ed se v&nbsp;karbon\u00e1tem bohat\u00fdch metamorfitech, jako jsou mramory a dolomity. P\u0159i identifikaci uvit\u016f je jejich pom\u011brn\u011b velkou komplikac\u00ed, \u017ee se m\u00eds\u00ed s&nbsp;dravity. Obvykle maj\u00ed \u010dernou nebo velmi syt\u011b zelenou barvu. Extr\u00e9mn\u011b vz\u00e1cn\u011b se lze setkat i s hn\u011bdo\u010dern\u00fdm, modro\u010dern\u00fdm nebo velmi syt\u011b modr\u00fdm odst\u00ednem. Tyto skoryly se ale v&nbsp;klenotnictv\u00ed nevyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed, proto\u017ee krystaly t\u011bchto barev jsou p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 temn\u00e9. Barva skorylu je p\u0159ipisov\u00e1na \u017eelezu a sod\u00edku. Geneticky ho m\u016f\u017eeme nal\u00e9zt v&nbsp;r\u016fzn\u00fdch typech hornin. Liddicoatity jsou zn\u00e1my velkou barevnostn\u00ed zonalitou. Geneticky n\u00e1le\u017eej\u00ed do granitick\u00fdch vyv\u0159elin. Jedny z&nbsp;nejhez\u010d\u00edch a taky nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edch krystal\u016f poch\u00e1zej\u00ed z&nbsp;Madagaskaru.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Liddicoatit&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Liddicoatit<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;m\u00e1 chemick\u00fd vzorec Ca(Li,Al)<sub>3<\/sub>Al<sub>6<\/sub>(BO<sub>3<\/sub>)<sub>3<\/sub>Si<sub>6<\/sub>O<sub>18<\/sub>(O,OH,F)<sub>4<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geneze<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turmal\u00edn m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt p\u016fvod magmatick\u00fd, metamorfn\u00ed \u010di hydroterm\u00e1ln\u00ed a nal\u00e9zat se m\u016f\u017ee i v \u017eil\u00e1ch alpsk\u00e9ho typu. Vznik\u00e1 za velk\u00e9ho rozp\u011bt\u00ed tlak\u016f a teplot, a to jak ve svrchn\u00edm pl\u00e1\u0161ti Zem\u011b (70\u201380&nbsp;km), tak i v hloubce pouze n\u011bkolika kilometr\u016f.&nbsp;Je hlavn\u00edm nositelem boru v&nbsp;zemsk\u00e9 k\u016f\u0159e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imitace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je t\u0159eba si d\u00e1vat p\u0159i n\u00e1kupu turmal\u00ednu pozor na jeho mo\u017en\u00e9 imitace anebo z\u00e1m\u011bnu za jin\u00e9 kameny. Paraiba turmal\u00edny, kter\u00e9 mus\u00ed obsahovat m\u011b\u010f, se nap\u0159\u00edklad mohou zam\u011b\u0148ovat za turmal\u00edny, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed sice stejnou nebo velmi podobnou barvu, ale m\u011b\u010f neobsahuj\u00ed. Paraiba je \u010dasto imitov\u00e1na rovn\u011b\u017e neonov\u011b modr\u00fdmi apatity. Cena paraiba turmalinu je cca 2 500 a\u017e 12 000 USD\/ct, cena modr\u00e9ho apatitu (v barv\u011b paraiba) je 10 USD za kg. Cena apatitu je tedy 0,002 USD\/ct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Syntetick\u00e1 v\u00fdroba<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turmal\u00edn lze pom\u011brn\u011b snadno p\u0159ipravit v laboratorn\u00edch podm\u00ednk\u00e1ch v mikrokrystalick\u00e9 podob\u011b.
