Jejich zaj\u00edmavou vlastnost\u00ed je jejich extr\u00e9mn\u011b vysok\u00fd index lomu sv\u011btla, vysok\u00e1 brilance a s&nbsp;n\u00ed spojen\u00e1 vysok\u00e1 disperze, kter\u00e1 zp\u016fsobuje, \u017ee zirkony maj\u00ed brilanci (p\u0159i spr\u00e1vn\u00fdch proporc\u00edch v\u00fdbrusu) zcela stejnou nap\u0159. s&nbsp;vybrou\u0161en\u00fdm diamantem. V&nbsp;p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b se vytv\u00e1\u0159ej\u00ed dlouze i kr\u00e1tce prizmatick\u00e9 krystaly zirkon\u016f prota\u017een\u00e9 podle osy c, v\u011bt\u0161inou zakon\u010den\u00e9 pyramid\u00e1ln\u00edmi plochami.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je rovn\u011b\u017e zaj\u00edmav\u00e9, \u017ee zirkony pat\u0159\u00ed mezi nejstar\u0161\u00ed zn\u00e1m\u00e9 miner\u00e1ly na Zemi, v&nbsp;ji\u017en\u00ed Austr\u00e1lii v oblasti Jack Hills toti\u017e byly nalezeny zirkony, jejich\u017e st\u00e1\u0159\u00ed v\u011bdci vypo\u010detli na neuv\u011b\u0159iteln\u00fdch 4,4 miliardy let (st\u00e1\u0159\u00ed Zem\u011b je 4,54 miliardy let). Tyto zirkony z&nbsp;Jack Hills ale bohu\u017eel nemaj\u00ed klenotnickou kvalitu. Jm\u00e9no zirkonu je pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b odvozeno od slova <em>zargun<\/em>; v&nbsp;per\u0161tin\u011b se tak naz\u00fdv\u00e1 zlato\u017elut\u00e1 barva, kter\u00e1 je u klenotnick\u00fdch zirkon\u016f nej\u010dast\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vlastnosti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chemick\u00fd vzorec zirkonu je ZrSiO<sub>4<\/sub> (silik\u00e1t zirkonia). Jeho barva je zp\u016fsobena celou \u0159adou dal\u0161\u00edch prvk\u016f, tedy Fe, Mg, Al, Sr, Ta, (OH), p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e z&nbsp;t\u011bch zaj\u00edmav\u011bj\u0161\u00edch uve\u010fme nap\u0159. uran nebo thorium. Obsahy t\u011bchto radioaktivn\u00edch prvk\u016f jsou natolik n\u00edzk\u00e9, \u017ee nezp\u016fsobuj\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 zdravotn\u00ed riziko; snad jedinou v\u00fdjimkou jsou syt\u011b zelen\u00e9 zirkony, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed obsah uranu, tak\u017ee mohou teoreticky zp\u016fsobit zdravotn\u00ed komplikace p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm brusi\u010d\u016fm, kte\u0159\u00ed vdechuj\u00ed jeho prach zejm\u00e9na p\u0159i le\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed tohoto drah\u00e9ho kamene. Na druhou stranu se v&nbsp;klenotnictv\u00ed vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed zejm\u00e9na modr\u00e9, \u017elut\u00e9, r\u016f\u017eov\u00e9 a bezbarv\u00e9 zirkony, u kter\u00fdch se ni\u010deho nemus\u00edme b\u00e1t.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drobnou nev\u00fdhodou zirkonu je jeho ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed tvrdost ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s&nbsp;diamantem, saf\u00edrem \u010di rub\u00ednem. Zirkon m\u00e1 podle Mohsovy stupnice tvrdost \u201epouze\u201c 7\u20137,5, co\u017e znamen\u00e1, \u017ee zirkony jsou st\u00e1le tvrd\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e nap\u0159. tsavority \u010di tanzanity, a jsou dokonce tvrd\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e k\u0159emen a jeho odr\u016fdy. Pokud jsou tedy zirkony pou\u017eity ve \u0161perku, kde jsou dostate\u010dn\u011b chr\u00e1n\u011bny proti ot\u011bru (nap\u0159. v n\u00e1u\u0161nic\u00edch \u010di z\u00e1v\u011bsech), obejde se no\u0161en\u00ed \u0161perku bez jak\u00fdchkoli komplikac\u00ed. U prsten\u016f je dobr\u00e9, kdy\u017e jsou zirkony jako centr\u00e1ln\u00ed kameny chr\u00e1n\u011bny anebo jsou na n\u011b nositelky p\u0159im\u011b\u0159en\u011b opatrn\u00e9 (nap\u0159. sund\u00e1vaj\u00ed si prsteny p\u0159i pr\u00e1ci na zahr\u00e1dce, v&nbsp;lomu, dole atd.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V\u00fdskyt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obecn\u011b se zirkony vyskytuj\u00ed v nefelinitick\u00fdch syenitech a jejich pegmatitech, kde tvo\u0159\u00ed izometrick\u00e1 zrna. V ostatn\u00edch vyv\u0159elin\u00e1ch tvo\u0159\u00ed dlouze prismatick\u00e9 krystaly. Rovn\u011b\u017e jsou typickou akcesori\u00ed (miner\u00e1lem, kter\u00fd se vyskytuje velmi \u0159\u00eddce) kysel\u00fdch intruziv, \u017eul, granodiorit\u016f apod., zat\u00edmco v bazik\u00e1ch a ultrabazik\u00e1ch t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 chyb\u00ed. Zirkon se velmi \u010dasto vyskytuje v pegmatitech a karbonatitech. Hromad\u00ed se t\u00e9\u017e v mo\u0159sk\u00fdch sedimentech (pl\u00e1\u017eov\u00e9 p\u00edsky).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Klenotnick\u00e9 zirkony (tedy ty vyu\u017eiteln\u00e9 jako drah\u00e9 kameny) se nej\u010dast\u011bji z\u00edsk\u00e1vaj\u00ed z&nbsp;tzv. rozsyp\u016f, co\u017e jsou zv\u011btraliny, kter\u00e9 p\u0159e\u0161ly do n\u00e1plav\u016f \u0159ek, kter\u00e9 je vyt\u0159\u00eddily, zakulatily a n\u011bkde usadily v&nbsp;sedimentu. Zde jsou pak t\u011b\u017eeny. Tyto m\u00edsta jsou p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na Sr\u00ed Lance, v Barm\u011b, Austr\u00e1lii, Nig\u00e9rii, Tanzanii a dal\u0161\u00edch st\u00e1tech. Bezbarv\u00e9 zirkony nal\u00e9zan\u00e9 v&nbsp;oblasti Matara na Sr\u00ed Lance jsou ozna\u010dov\u00e1ny jako Matara diamanty (s diamanty jako miner\u00e1ln\u00edm druhem v\u0161ak nemaj\u00ed nic spole\u010dn\u00e9ho).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00daprava kvality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">U hn\u011bd\u00fdch zirkon\u016f z&nbsp;Kambod\u017ei je mo\u017en\u00e9 zm\u011bnit barvu z&nbsp;hn\u011bd\u00e9 na kr\u00e1sn\u011b modrou, jsou-li vy\u017e\u00edh\u00e1ny (vyp\u00e1leny). Tyto modr\u00e9 zirkony maj\u00ed sv\u016fj speci\u00e1ln\u00ed n\u00e1zev \u2013 starlit. Je-li tepeln\u00e1 \u00faprava provedena nekvalitn\u011b, m\u016f\u017ee se st\u00e1t, \u017ee je modr\u00e1 barva nestabiln\u00ed a \u010dasem m\u016f\u017ee \u0161ednout.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imitace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V&nbsp;\u010cech\u00e1ch, ale bohu\u017eel i ve sv\u011bt\u011b se m\u016f\u017eete velmi \u010dasto setkat s&nbsp;t\u00edm, \u017ee je p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed zirkon zam\u011b\u0148ov\u00e1n za \u201eum\u011bl\u00fd zirkon, syntetick\u00fd zirkon \u010di jen zirkon\u201c. Ve skute\u010dnosti je tato z\u00e1m\u011bna zp\u016fsobena neznalost\u00ed obchodn\u00edk\u016f a klenotn\u00edk\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed V\u00e1m k\u00e1men prod\u00e1vaj\u00ed. To, co V\u00e1m nab\u00edzej\u00ed, je ve skute\u010dnosti synteticky (um\u011ble) vyroben\u00e1 kubick\u00e1 zirkonie, kter\u00e1 se v&nbsp;klenotnictv\u00ed b\u011b\u017en\u011b vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 jako levn\u00fd drah\u00fd k\u00e1men.
