Mineralogically, it is a tectosilicate and a member of the sodalite group. Lazulite is the main component of the rock lapis lazuli, in which it contributes 25 to 40 % of its composition. The piece we offer is a completely pure and perfectly transparent sapphire blue lazulite (!!); these stones are extremely rare.
