Amblygonite is a rare fluorophosphate (Li, Na) AlPO4 (F, OH) found in pegmatites. Due to its rarity, it is only used as a gemstone in jewellery on a very limited basis. This pale yellow amblygonite comes from Taquaral, Itinga in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and has an unusual fancy cut. This stone is intended for collectors.
