Rutil 1.59 ct

Transparent (!), red-brown rutile (TiO2), cut into the shape of a regular rectangular baguette with dimensions of 9.71 x 4.12 mm. The stone comes from the Governador Valadares locality in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Transparent, completely clear rutillas are very rare in nature, while completely opaque rutillas are common. Offered at a very affordable price, this rutile is only suitable for gemstone collectors.
