Faceted sillimanites are very rare gemstones, as the perfectly transparent raw material is found only in limited quantities. This COLORLESS, completely transparent sillimanite with a subtle silver tinge is cut into a modified multirow oval measuring 10.48 x 8.44 mm. The sillimanite comes from the Mogok locality, 120 km NE of Mandalay, Burma (now Myanmar). The offered stone is suitable for very demanding gemstone collectors.
